What good thing must I do that I can enter Eternal Life? Mat 19:16-19 Now behold, one came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good shall I do to have eternal life?” “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Yeshua said to him. “There is only One who is good; but if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” “ Which ones?” he said. Yeshua said, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” Yeshua told the young man what you must do to have eternal life. He gave 5 examples from the Covenant that had to do with our relationship with others. The first 4 Commandments have to do with our relationship with the Father. If Yeshua meant all the rules in the Old Testament, wouldn't He have said that, or giving examples of 4 of the 5 rules not from the Covenant? The 10 Commandments are our wedding Covenant.
