Good News, Gospel?


Mar 1:1-9 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as it has been written in the Prophets, "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You; the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight." Mal. 3:1; Isa. 40:3

John came baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for remission of sins,(NOT THAT MESSIAH WOULD DIE FOR THEIR SINS). And all the Judean country and those of Jerusalem went out to him, and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leather girdle about his loin, and eating locusts and wild honey. And he proclaimed, saying, He who comes after me is mightier than I, of whom I am not fit to stoop down to loosen the thong of His sandals. I indeed baptized you in water, but He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

Mar 1:14-15 And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time has been fulfilled, and the kingdom of God draws near. Repent and believe in the gospel. 

 

   Heb 4:2  For, indeed, we have had the gospel preached to us, even as they also; but the Word did not profit those hearing it, not having been mixed with faith in the ones who heard.  


   Heb 4:6  Therefore, since it remains for some to enter into it, and those who formerly had the gospel preached did not enter in on account of disobedience, 

Heb 4:7  He again marks out a certain day, saying in David, Today (after so long a time, according as He has said), "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." MT-Psalm 95:7, 8 

Heb 4:8  For if Joshua gave them rest, then He would not have afterwards spoken about another day.


   THESES ARE THE ONE'S WHO HEARD GOD SPEAK THE COVENANT, AND THEN BUILT A GOLDEN CALF, OR BEAST.


   2Co 11:3  But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is due to Christ. 

2Co 11:4  For if, indeed, the one coming proclaims another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, or another gospel which you never accepted, you might well endure these. 


   ANOTHER GOSPEL WAS JEWS COMING PROCLAIMING THE FIRST COVENANT.

Luk 20:1-2 And it happened on one of those days, as He was teaching the people and proclaiming the gospel in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes came up, along with the elders, and spoke to Him, saying, Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who is it who gave to you this authority? (Levitical or Melchezidek)

  The New Covenant    Jer 31:31-36 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah , not like The Covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My Covenant that they broke , though I was their husband, declares the LORD.    For this is the Covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my Torah within them, and I will write it on their hearts .
